Taxonomy and systematicsEditThe Palaeosetidae are a primitive family of Hepialoidea with four currently recognised genera and seven species.
DistributionEditOne genus occurs in Colombia (Osrhoes) and the other three genera have an Old World distribution from Assam to Australia.[1][2]
